Rescheduling Discovery Cove
Hi Dibbers
I've booked for Discovery Cove for 6th June, which is a Wednesday, but am thinking it'd be best for a weekend. Do you think it'd be a good idea to change it to a weekend now? I believe you are allowed to change the date once but worried something else will come up later in the date where I might need to change it e.g. sickness or something. Would you bother changing or leave it as it is? Edited at 10:39 AM. |

We've booked for a weekend with the theory that they only let so many people into the park , this day suited us also . However it's still going to be quieter midweek I would think .
As far as altering the date for sickness etc , I find the parks very accommodating and woukd be surprised if they did not change it ... No guarantees though . Having said all that If I'd already booked I don't think personally would bother changing unless it worked out a lot better for itinerary . |

Thank you Debs. I'd prefer it at the weekend, but I'm keeping it as it is, for now. Don't want to risk moving it, in case something else comes up.

Had to ring up anyway as they'd got my son's name wrong so decided to change it. Booked it for a Saturday which is showing as really busy everywhere. Can't change it now, but feel my itinerary will flow much better.
Will be a $50 fee plus the difference in price if I need to change it again, which fingers crossed, won't happen. Edited at 06:48 PM. |

Hiya, we went to discovery cove on our last visit in 2015. We had our day booked but unfortunately my daughter caught a stomach bug and was sick in the car on the way there.
We left my daughter in the car with her grandparents and popped in to tell them of the situation and they re-booked us for a few days later. Very helpful. Unfortunately a few days later my Dad fell ill on the day we visited. Again we explained the situation to the receptionist and they just gave him his ticket back for another visit for another time, which he used a year later. It was the end of our holiday and didn't have any full days left to re book again. Anyway they are extremely accommodating and I'm sure if anyone fell ill they would accommodate you like they did with us. Louise
