staying on the Lynx will take you 20 minutes to TTC, then it will take time to go to MK on the monorail, and then again, time to catch a bus to another park if MK is not your destination

so, yes, it could effectively cut your travel time in half.
Sounds good - would you do this if you were going to MK or is it just as quick to go to TTC? Also - is there no problems getting buses from resorts? They don't ask for rooms cards or anything?
Just out of interest, would you do the same at the end of the day? i.e. go from park to DS rather than TCC to get the Lynx bus?

For the return I'm fairly sure that you have to change buses at the super stop in Disney Springs anyway, the Lynx website will confirm this.
As far as getting on at the resort, no, no checking- SSR is fairly open on the Springs side & people do it all the time. One couple joyfully told us that they couldn't afford to stay at SSR but were right across the road at the Wyndham & came and used the pools & laundry facilities & I quote..." why pay the extra when we can use it for free.." DW made sure I kept my cool ! The only thing I would say though is the buses can be busy coming back.
