Possible 50th Birthday Trip - Oct/Nov

Hi All,

Would appreciate advice or feedback. We had a great trip last August and I said 2020 would be our next possible visit. However, I am 50 early November and it would be great to go back then. I have had a quote for fly drive for 3 adults and 2 little ones coming in at £3,200. They are indirect flights with United airlines flying from Manchester. I would appreciate if people thought if this was a decent price for that time of year. Would love to go but also want to make sure we can get good value as my youngest will be 4 and would now have to pay for disney tickets.

Regards

Peter

I personally think that is quite expensive for a flydrive - who is that with and what dates?

We booked with virgin. Gatwick to MCO. Would normally use Manchester but that was more expensive this time for some reason. Luckily we live same distance from both.

Hi,

Yes I can get flights on 25th for less than £2k flying from LHR but literally double that from Manchester. A bit inconvenient travelling from Liverpool to London and back but a no brainer with that price difference.

That sounds really good. I guess £1950 for 3 adults and 2 children isn't bad considering it is half term for us. I am restricted by school dates as potentially missing few school days for this. My son's school are reasonable as long as you don't abuse it. I just want to make sure I am getting reasonable value before I pull the trigger.
