Hi Ellenut the boardwalk is in the EPCOT resort area, you could get a Disney Transportation Bus from DS to the area, going via one of the resorts in the area such as the Yacht Club.

No specific photos of DS itself, but did get a nice one the other month of the new water tower.

Hope you don't mind me jumping on the thread - We are out of the villa at 10am tomorrow (Sun) and have a couple of hours to kill before heading to the airport. I suggested Disney springs to DH but I am a bit worried that we might get caught up in traffic. Any recent visitors opinions on this? We would probably get there about 10.30am and leaving about 12.30 to head for MCO. Tia

It's fairly quiet in the morning, doesn't start to get busy until later in the day, although Sunday will be busier than a week day.

We don't do Disney anymore, just US and Busch. You don't need a ticket plus you can visit the Disney Boardwalk which is much quieter with lots of places to eat within a nice setting. This year we watched the Wishes fireworks from the Disney Polynesian Resort Beach. I had read it was one of the best views outside of MK. We drove up to the gate, told security we were visiting. Got in no problem had a lovely evening on their beach all for the price of a coffee each.
