10 year old - can they still opt for childrens meals

We are staying on site with disney for the second time next year and have the dining plan. My middle child will have just turned 10. My issue is she will not want to choose from the adult meals and eats very little. Can she still order children's meals at the sit down disney restaurants?

Thanks

Yes. My kids are 10 & 12 and both eat from the kids menus with no issues.

Last year my 28 year old daughter wanted a kids meal at lunch because she didn't want an adult sized portion. It wasn't a problem at all and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yes. For my daughter we paid for her kids meals as they're quite cheap and didn't seem good use of an adult TS credit. This gave us more credits to have more TS meals for the other 3 of us which meant on the odd day we had a TS breakfast and evening meal.

That's what we do, works out well. (Sometimes DW eats from the kids menu as well!)

They can although my 11 year old wanted a kids meal in sci-fi dine in and the server was unsure whether she could put this through as we had dining plan. We told her to just charge the adult credit price but she did bring an adult meal instead which my daughter wasn’t up to eating! If you’re paying it won’t be an issue at all.

Thanks all. We are on the dining plan but really don't want adult meals for her as she simply won't eat them.

My DD was just 11 and not a massive eater so she had children’s meals mostly and the odd steak from the adult menu, we never had any issues and meant we weren’t paying out more money even though it probably wasn’t a good use of an adult TS. Equally my 17 yr old DD occasionally fancied chicken nuggets and that wasn’t a problem either... the server just gave her a bigger portion!
