Flying into Miami?

We did it last year and are doing the same again this year - purely because of the cost difference!

We found Miami airport to be really easy. We were through immigration within a few minutes - probably because we didn't land at the same time as any other flights.

We stayed overnight at the Cambria Suites near the airport and are glad we did - I don't think my husband would've been happy driving 3 hours on top of a long day! We are staying at the same place this year as we liked it so much last time. Last year we drove up the west coast via Vero Beach and stopped there for lunch (it was a beautiful place). This year however we are starting our holiday off at Anna Maria Island so will have a leisurely drive there the morning after our flight.
