Does anyone know of a company selling Flydrive packages for October 2020 apart from virgin!
Normally go with virgin but they quoted us just short of £2k more than we paid for exactly same package in 2018.
I know prices change but £2k more it’s scandalous!

Flights will not be released until November 2019 if you book before then the travel agent is taking a gamble on what the price may be and adding some on for good measure.

I would not book before Jan 2020 possibly slightly earlier if I were to loo: at a charter, which I probably wouldnt

Yea we normally booked 18months in advance with virgin but due to their price may look at booking flight only early 2020

Virgin only publicise their flight routes 11months in advance booking prior to that is like buy8ng a house off of plan before planning permission has been given.

We have found that fly drive booked 8n the BA Christmas sale is the cheapest option by far 2017 trip £1290 for 2A 1C 3weeks with Ford Edge but to Miami direct. We were looking this year for 2019 but at California again and prices were reasonable but I am waiting to get a contract for my business before I commit to a large holiday spend.

Like you I would love to book so far ahead as I love the planning (probably more than the holiday in Florida) but I am as tight as a knats chuff and want to get the best possible deal which means I wait.

Last year I left it too late (did not start looking until May) and could not get anyth8ng for my target price (flights £1k any Florida or UK airport in August for at least 2weeks) so did not book. I. The end we booked in August to fly to Denver and back from LA for £960 includ8ng luggage and seat reservations which was great.

I am not sure what we will do this year as I think that depending on the Brexit outcome the pound may dive even more making fuel more expensive and flights will go up we will see.

Virgin DO offer these flights on Virgin Holidays.
You can book holidays well into Summer 2020 as well as Fly drive.
We were looking as well for Flydrive Easter 2020 but the prices for 3 £5200 !
in my opinion far too high price.

They do offer these flight but they don’t exist until 11 months before the travel date ! See comparison with buying house of a plan before planning permission is given.

Ok if this is the case what about people who have booked holidays ?
Last year i booked my fly-drive 13 months before.
I don't exactly call this a "punt" when thousands of people booked their Holidays and fly-drive more than 11 months before their departure.
The holidays and fly-drive are set in stone give or take virgin changing departure time by a few hours. Virgin would not offer holidays or Flydrive if this was only a punt they would be liable.
