Grown up kids at disney
Know this has probably been asked a few times on here , but couldnt find a thread on a quick look.
So basically my kids are now 22 and 18, my partner has a 16 yr old. Will Disney have enough to entertain them? . First and last time they went there was when my 2 were 7 and 3. Since then we been doing universal, discovery, SeaWorld etc when we go to Florida. As me and my partner have just come back from Orlando, we were itching to book again . So saw a deal and saw Disney tickets at a reasonable price. I just booked it as we haven't done Disney for such a long time. |

Daft response, but ask them! My 15 year old at the time would only go on simulators, no pictures with Mickey, Minnie nothing, a proper grump, but my 25 and 13 yr old just did everything. You know your kids, it all depends on then liking rides etc. 🤷🏼

I did ask them , and got the usual repsonce, whatever!
The girls 22 and 16 should be fine I recon. My 18 yr son is a very quiet lad and getting a response out of him is so difficult. He will walk round in silence not knowing if he is actually enjoying the holiday experience . We take him on rollercoasters and not a squeak out of him while the rest of us howl! Even mako at SeaWorld he didn't react as such! Lol |

My now 16 yr old and 14yr old are boys, my 26 year old is a girl. Genuinely feel that middle one couldn't have been more bothered. Did some rides, but even looking back at pictures couldn't tell if he was at Disney or court for murder 😂😂😂 My wife doesn't go on rides but is an awesome bag holder 😉

If your eighteen year old drinks they may find Florida's drinking laws a bit of a negative .

My DS20 loves Disney - his favourite park is Animal Kingdom but will happily go to them all and will also go in on his own if we fancy a pool day as he doesn't want to (in his view) waste a minute of his holiday! Being a vlogger is all part of this too 🎬 😂

Our sons are 22 and 20 at the moment and can’t wait till Xmas when we go again by then they’ll be 23 and 21.
They go on everything from Rock and Roller coaster to Peter Pan and everything in between. They also love haming it up and having fun with the characters. This year as the younger one will be 21 we’re finally going to be able to do a drink around the world day but that’s something we’ve looked forward to for a long time.

When you think about how many adults (young and old) holiday in Disney World without children and how many parents love and enjoy it as much as their children, there must be enough to entertain all ages. We have always gone as a big, multi-generation family group and no-one has ever been bored - if anything, we feel we never have enough time and would happily stay longer if it was possible! My nineteen year old nephew who is now at University still wants to come on this year’s trip. It’s difficult when teenagers are non-committal but hopefully they’ll all enjoy Disney World even if they don’t show it!

I agree with this. I'm 55 and have never been on a Disney holiday as a child or in a group with children. I was in my 30s the first two occasions I visited a Disney park (WDW in 1995 and 1997) and I went with my then husband. We never had children, it was just us. Last year was my third visit (solo) and I loved every minute of it and can't wait to go again in September
