Travelling on our anniversary

We are flying on our anniversary with BA has anyone been able to get any enhancements by letting them know in advance?

Nope, not a sausage. They might suggest you preorder (and pay for) an overpriced small bottle of champagne, but that's about it.

Check-in staff are well used to "its my special birthday/anniversary/honeymoon" etc and won't bat an eyelid apart from wishing you well.

Doubt it, they wouldn't even make an announcement for friends we had travelling on their honeymoon a few years ago

Not a thing. Half the plane is probably celebrating something so in fairness they couldn't please everyone.
