I totally agree it's very dangerous reading trip reports when you're trying to resist booking an extra trip. 2021 is going to be a good year with the 50th celebrations. I'm sure you'd have a better time if you saved up and didn't go next year as well.

Am I doing a good job of trying to convince you that your original plan was a good one? I would guees I'm probably not.

A lovely day despite the pesky buses !
Your meal did look lovely but eek what a price tag. Interesting about it feeling loud. We felt that about our last trip to Yachtsman. Far too noisy for such an expensive experience.

Interesting trivia. Alice was a princess? Too weird.

You did do well on the extra servings front this trip. Unexpected extras like that are a lovely bit of added magic.

Never made it to Tom Sawyer Island or the Treehouse. They look fun though.

How very rude of that wasp to be buzzing your pineapple like that and annoying your uninvited extra table guests 😂 It clearly wasn’t a proper Disney wasp 😉

It was a pricey meal and there is no way I'd be paying for it OOP as the kids would be just as happy with nuggets and fries for $10.

I thought it was weird that Alice was considered a princess too.

You would think Disney would have banned all wasps from resorts and parks, surely they should get onto that already

Fab last day in MK!
You have the patience of a saint waiting for those busses, I would be having kittens in your shoes 😂
I can’t believe they demoted Alice from being a princess, how unfair is that 😳. The quiz was good fun though, I didn’t know that about Test Track I definitely would have said Rock n Roller Coaster!
Dole Whip for breakfast is perfectly acceptable, the raspberry version looks really yum!
I have a confession, I’ve never done either the Tiki Room or the Country Bears before. Am I even allowed to still be on the Dibb?!
Hats off for the solo cocktail drinking in the afternoon 😆, very rude of the lady though! Honestly what’s someone got to do to have a cocktail in peace 😉
Your dinner looks so good, much better than last night but still can’t get over how expensive the prices have gotten. The chocolate pudding looks epic! Great that you got to watch HEA one last time too, you get such a great view from up in California Grill

I know poor Alice being demoted.

Yep, dole whip for breakfast is definitely allowed on holiday. I'm glad you approve! But I am cross Alicia I can't believe you've never done Tiki room or Country Bears. Shocking!

The dinner was lovely and a great end to the day.

How nice that you managed to meet back up with the lady from the bus in the morning. I've taught my girls to always give up their seat if they see someone who needs it more than they do and it annoys me too that others don't teach the same basic manners.

I've never done Splash Mountain as I don't like big drops. DH keeps trying to convince me that I'll like the rest of the ride more than I'll hate the drop but I'm not so sure.

Dinner at CG looks fantastic. I might have to add that one to our to do list.

It really was good to meet up with my bus friend. I'd felt so bad for her that she had to stand with her three girls, especially as 1 was clearly a toddler and the others were small too. The bus was packed and I had to help hold the little ones up. Anyway, it was great to hear what they'd got up to that day.

I'd say the same thing as your DH, it honestly isn't a bad drop. Do you go on BTMR? If so then that is worse than splash as it's fast. Splash is a lovely boat ride for the most part, like small world or pirates. Actually the drop is over before you know it and it's not a losing your belly sort of drop. The inside of the ride is spectacular. I love it!

Thanks for that - maybe I'll give Splash a go then. I love BTMRR and 7 dwarfs. Fast has never bothered me I just don't like the stomach dropping sensation much. I did manage to do Jurrasic Park at Universal on one trip.

Splash is similar to the Jurrasic Park ride, but much, much better! If you like BTMR then you should be alright. Honestly, I'm much more bothered about getting a face full of water and trying to remember to duck a bit at the end of the drop, but after the photo. We have a whole duck and cover routine going on but only after the photo has been taken! I'd say try it out, at least then you'll know. Maybe book an early morning FP to get it out the way and perhaps don't eat before hand?

Splash is my favourite ride though even counting FOP, which is awesome and the Harry Potter rides at universal. Splash still wins for me.
