May vs end Oct

Has anyone done both? I have always done end Oct for Halloween into Nov, now planning on end of May, does any helpful Dibbers know if I will notice a huge crowd and weather difference, we will be there for memorial weekend

May tends to be less crowded than Halloween in my opinion. I've done both and would choose May over October as the weather is better and crowds are less or the same. Weather wise its less rainy.

We’ve done both Oct 2017 and May 2019, May was a lot hotter than October we really struggled in the parks last year, but I don’t think it’s normally as hot as it was last year! Only thing I noticed about May crowds was lots of school trips, but didn’t affect us too much. We are trying October again this year.

We've done End of May /June last year and are going back again this year. It is busy (when isn't it!) but we find it more manageable than October. Memorial weekend can be busier but well planned fast passes works well or a water park day.

You do get a lot of south american tour trip groups around in May where you don't in October - it will be hotter too but we like the heat!

We find when the special events start happening it pushes the non ticketed days to be busy as people with day tickets avoid them.

We have done both. Crowds were smaller beginning of may. However its nice to see the Christmas decs. Just depends if you can deal with crowds really.

We are going May into June originally had planned October half term but free dining restrictions moved it forward on the plus not as long to wait!
