Art of animation Family Suites

Interested in people’s views who have stayed in the family suites at Art of animation. We are 4 adults, myself and DD , DS and his partner. How practical are they, we would be making use of sofa bed and pull down bed, are they comfortable for adults? Or are these mainly meant for children? Any other thoughts, good and bad on the suites. I was thinking of moving this years booking to next year to AoA as It never seems to come up in any offers, and had always fancied staying there. But will book 2 Little Mermaid rooms if the family suites are more suited to younger families. Thank you

They are great, we used the pull down bed plus bedroom and then so sofa for seating. So easy, also putting the bed down and up multiple times, would love to stay again

We stayed there for 2 nights ladt year in a cars suite. We really liked it but i have to say the sofa bed wasnt particularly comfortable ok for a child or maybe a couple of nights but i wouldnt want to sleep on it for longer then that. The pull down bed is a proper bed.

Our first trip to Disney we spent 2 weeks in a Lion King Suite, we loved it. There was me and dh in the room with en-suite and ds and dd had a week each on the sofa/Murphy bed then swapped. They were comfy in the beds and we liked the kitchenette. I must admit we sometimes asked housekeeping to leave the beds made up during the day as the kids were often really tired when we got back and we didn’t want to make up the beds.

I assume your ds and his partner would have the room And you/your daughter would have the beds in the Living area? I think as long as you’re all happy in together it will be great but obviously there will be less privacy than if you are in 2 separate rooms.

Thank you, that’s brilliant help, and yes that’s how we were going to arrange it, may have to make DD sleep on sofa bed while I have the Murphy bed, from what I’ve read! The two separate bathrooms seem better than the set up we had in a one bedroom at SSR. Kitchenette would be good too!
