I don't think that I've seen any empirical evidence as to which is the better side for choice. I guess it changes by the minute. In normal times MCO is a 24/7 operation handling over 800 flights a day so, in theory, people can be returning cars any time between 12.01 am and 11.59 pm and I guess they park them up where they have space.

I really have no idea but because we always head for the 417 we just aim for garage B as it's nearest to APM 4. Not much in it time-wise I guess but as it's nearest our gates and nearest to 417 it's the obvious choice for us.

Can anyone tell me if we do OLCI with Alamo at MCO, will this mean it is more difficult to get an upgrade once we arrive? We have got a full size suv which we will be happy with but others in the group have only booked economy cars and have said they may wait till they get there to upgrade. Thanks

Some Dibbers say that if you slip the guy in the garage a $20 bill he may "arrange" an upgrade. How that works when you have a barcode at the barrier that says you've paid for an economy and you rock up in a full size I've no idea. Other Dibbers have said that garage workers have been sacked for accepting inducements.

Obviously the benefit of doing OLCI is that you avoid the terminal desk completely and go straight to the garage. My limited knowledge of asking at the terminal desk for an upgrade is about the most expensive way of doing it.

If in doubt I'd say upgrade here now if you've booked through a good UK broker like Andy.

Does it work on legacy.alamo/en_US/car-r...ourOCI-uk.html

The reservation numbers don't seem to work on the new online check in website.

It was just to see if Alamo bookings through me are eligible for the online check in… they are.

Hi Chris

Already agreed a Alamo booking through Andy and wanted to find out if included a beat the line incentive, pleased to say it does.

I hate hire car lines
