I phone 11 v i phone 12
Is the new 12 a lot better than the 11?
I am sure I read I phone 12 mini? Does that mean it’s smaller than the 11? What are the differences? Thank you |

It depends on what you currently have. I’ve the the 11 Pro and most likely won’t go for the 12 as the jump isn’t great enough for me. If I had a lesser model, then I’d go for it.
There is a 12 mini, just go on to apple/uk and take a look. |

There’s the iPhone 12 mini . iPhone 12 normal size
iPhone 12 pro and then the pro max I had the 11 pro and now have the 12 pro as my husband gave me his upgrade The 12 is 5G but unless your in area that supports 5G is not really important It is slightly bigger than the 11 pro and has a better camera abs faster processor (can’t say I’ve noticed much difference) You can also use the MagSafe chargers and accessories with the 12 ( they aren’t cheap though ) Personally I wouldn’t have bought a 12 pro as I was quite happy with the 11 pro , not a big enough jump to warrant the cost IMO . |

It’s not actually for me, i just get his cast off 😃
He currently has the I phone 7. There seems to be a couple of hundred pound difference in the 11 & 12, based on a two year deal. So with that in mind is the 12 worth an extra £200? He will have this new phone for the next two years. Thanks x |

Well both are a huge jump from the 7
Depends on your budget I suppose Like I said i would have been quite happy to have kept my 11 for another year or so |

Can I jump in on this thread please.
I'm debating between 11pro or 12. I'm jumping ship from Samsung so. Camera is very important to me. |

Like a couple of others in this thread... I have an 11 Pro and do not feel the need to upgrade to the 12 Pro, especially since 5G isn't really all that established where I am!
Not as familiar with the 11/12 (as opposed to the pros) though, sorry... If the main difference is 5G then it would depend on whether you feel you might benefit from the speed difference (are you mainly on cellular as opposed to wifi, is there good 5G coverage in your area, what is the additional cost for 5G).

Both would do more than most people need and have good cameras. As mentioned 5G is one of the big differences.
You say the he will have it for 2 years, what happens then, does it get passed down to other family members? If it does then the 12 may be worth it now as in 2 years the 5G landscape will be very different and only becoming more common meaning that you will have future proofed for say 4 years or more depending on how many times it gets handed down. |

How does the IPhone 12 compare size wise with the IPhone 8Plus.
I was thinking of getting it for my daughter for Christmas, but she wants to look at it first which given our current situation will only be at the beginning of December |
