we went to our favourite chinese restaurant for one last meal before lockdown. booked for 6pm, met in town at 5pm to go for a beer before the meal. completely forgot all the pubs were shut unless it was with food, so wandered slowly up to the restaurant and got mike (the owner) to let us in and sit down and drink a beer (its BYOB) half an hour early. had the whole place to ourselves up until the point when our starters came out at 6:15 (when it started filling up)

we were all done by 7:30 and home by 7:45 with a bottle of wine ready to catch up on the day's tv

Blimey, I'm feeling left out - since March we've only had a breakfast out while school shoe shopping in the summer, and then a very quick coffee and cake in my favourite cafe last week as it had just re-opened.

We have had too many takeaways though!

We went out sat and sun , Miller and Carter’s on Saturday and then Franco Manca on Sunday as we knew the lockdown was going to be a sure thing.
Would’ve had Ask last night but it was really busy so we had KFC takeaway .

Edited at 12:54 PM.

We had an enormous piggy breakfast yesterday at Brewers Fayre. We even stayed out Tuesday night, all part of our family farewell tour. 😂

Gevis taverna in Piskopiano. Dakos, tzicki, lamb chops. Washed down with local wine and the obligatory raki.

Went to Chania yesterday too but didn't fancy eating then driving back on a full tummy.

4 more days and making the most out of it.

We didn’t eat out last night but in the afternoon we went to a lovely independent coffee shop for coffee and cake.

where we stay in Scotland our restaurants have been closed for last three weeks already and now they can open but only until 6pm and they cant serve alcohol. Its been a weird old time as we have a Marstons within walking distance and the staff and other folks are really friendly. I know its not local but it does employ local staff and we miss the walk down. Still be some time for us yet as we were teetering on the brink of the level 4 category up here and missed it by the skin of our teeth.

Goodness i hope all the restrictions and sacrifices are worth it and we get through this sooner rather than later.
