Winter picnic
My mum is in my sisters bubble, and we will be in Teir 2so we are thinking of a winter picnic on christmas eve at a spot near to my mums, she cannot travel far due to bad leg ulcers.
So far we have sausage rolls, soup, cheese scones and hot choc and cookies and mince pies or christmas pud Any other ideas of things we can add? Need to be able to eat in the car as not expecting brilliant weather!

Not wanting to rain on your parade but will you all be in the same car. I'm thinking that makes you all in closer proximity than in a house.
Apart from that I'd say a nip of something in a hip flask 😀 brandy for the hot chocolate? For the non drivers only of course.

No we taking seperate cars! Its the only way i can see my mum safely. As i work at hospital and DD will have been at school we wouldnt risk anything. Even her presents will be taken over my sisters 2 weeks before to quarantine!

Everything you have said sounds delicious, I also like to make quiche. You can make one large one but for picnics I like to use a muffin pan and make mini individual ones. I use pretty much much whatever I can find in fridge! Maybe a tub or bag of Roses or Celebrations too? I think it sounds like a lovely idea and that you are also being super careful. Xx
