DS when he was much younger describing the open end of a shuttlecock at the bell end, still brings a smile to my face.

Our son once asked if there was a a place Politon.
We were all confused until he said there must be because this ice cream is from a place called near Politin (Neapolitan)
He was deadly serious too and couldn’t understand why we were all in fits of laughter

We used to pass through the ancient Westgate Towers on our bus journey into Canterbury city centre. When my eldest daughter was about 12 she asked how they knew to build it big enough to let busses through😳. She was being totally serious and it caused a lot of laughter on an otherwise boring bus journey. I will admit it was a very tight squeeze for a double decker bus.
You can't pass through the towers anymore but we always remind her of what she said when we see them😂.

I'm not clever enough to put a picture on but if you google Beverley bar bus , you will see a bus that is shaped to go through these arches , so she wasnt as daft as you think 🤣
