Feeling really rough

Just wanted to moan really as I feel sorry for myself.

I started with a stiff neck and shoulders and headache on Friday and put it down to doing 18hrs driving over 3.5days.

I now ache all over, feel like I've been trampled and still got a really stiff neck and headache. I usually bake at the weekends and didn't even get Mary Berry out of the cupboard yesterday - Mary is my mixer.

Think I'm off back to bed. Got to admit the 4hrs of driving tomorrow isn't looking like fun

You are entitled to moan, you sound poorly. Get some painkillers and maybe a hot water bottle/heat pad for your neck and shoulders and rest!

Don't want to be all dramatic but are they similar to meningitis symptoms? I'd take tomorrow off and visitthe doc. Hope you feel better soon.

I wanted to say this too but didn't want to be alarmist.

Also could you have been in a draught for a while which might have affected your muscles, OR it might be flu (real flu makes you feel like death !)

If you don't feel better by tomorrow I'd see the doc.

I've had some paracetamol and am off to bed to snuggle with one of my cats and a hot water bottle. The tablets have helped with the stiff neck and headache and I think its a virus.

I had flu years ago (never ever want that again!) and remember the Doctor saying about virus symptoms and you feel like, well, like I do now.

Oh well, I'm sure DH can fend for himself for dinner
