That is an awful lot of money to have sitting around car parks

Think I may ditch the car and use Uber next trip. Anyone else thought this.
we have booked for 2021 & only hiring a car for 3/4 days to head down to maybe palm beach area

rental cost then parking at parks & HRH hotel to pay isnt worth the $$

uber / lyft all the way

We've always had a car for the whole holiday, and staying onsite most days it sits in the car park - last year for the first time we got the Magical Express from the airport and we only hired a car for a couple of days mid trip so we could easily go to malls, Celebration etc. It worked out really well and we'd do it again onsite, though we wouldn't stay offsite with no car.

I tried the no car route once and wouldn't do it again, it was before Uber etc where born so cost a lot when we heading to universal & SeaWorld. Disney was fine as stayed onsite. But even with Uber, I wouldn't want to be without. I love driving and exploring the area, heading to Anna Maria and other places if and when we fancy it. Its just another budgeted part of the holiday for me and if it really came down to it, I'd eat less in the parks and more off-site or stay in a cheaper hotel before I dropped the car

We only ever hire a car for part of our trip and plan off site days accordingly. We make sure it coincides with a hotel where we get free parking.
