Annual travel insurance with 18 year old daughter

Hi

Wondering if anyone can help, we have a few trips booked this year and our 18 year old daughter will be traveling with us, we currently have annual insurance with M&S but it only covers children up to the age of 18.

I am hunting a new policy that will cover us all but wondered if any Dibber had any suggestions on companies to use. The cover will have to include cruise and DIY.

Any help would be welcomed x

I had the issue last year. It ended that i took separate insurance for my 19 year old. We wanted to use holidaysafe insurance as they have a cruise option. This year we are using our nationwide holiday insurance which covers kids still in full time education if traveling with us.

We also took separate ins for our 19yr old last yr as she was working full time. This yr she's covered on our family insurance as she's now a student at uni.

Why not talk to M&S to add another adult? If not I'm sure you can just get your daughter a separate insurance. Go thorough cashback sites and get some cash back.

I'm not sure about annual cover but try LV, they included our 18 year old student son on our family policy.

We have the travel insurance with nat west gold current account. They told us that as our 19 year old son is in full time education he is still covered.

My son was covered as long as we travelled as a family up until he finished college. Only time it didn't cover him was once he didn't come for whole trip but flew out to meet us in New York. That was with our bank account insurance...maybe check incase m and s do something similar.

We've used Boots before and very pleased with the price & cover. Not sure about cruise cover though?

Have m&s insurance changed . They used to cover students in full time education up to 23 ( not sure about exact age ) but over 18 . My children were covered at uni even when they travelled on their own
This is annual insurance
