Where are you seeing this? I’m sure there are people on the dibb with fully vaccinated under 18s

Definitely- my 17 year old niece and all her friends are double vaccinated- I’ve never heard of anyone else being told the second has to wait!

My daughter is 16 and has just had her first vaccination. The NHS booking letter said at the moment they will only have one dose and will be told when they will get their second once all data has been reviewed.

Thanks, though I was going mad, but glad it's just not my daughter.

I have even rang my local covid centre, and yes she cant have her 2nd until she is 3 months from her 18th birthday, unless she is or lives with someone vulnerable

That’s such a shame - I wonder if it varies by area - we were in an area of concern when she had hers done, and they were allowing 16/17 year olds to attend walk in centres to have them done

To answer your original question, you will only be allowed off on an organised trip in the circumstances. I’ve just come back from a 6 night cruise on the Anthem and had the best time - I only got off for a quick coffee in Belfast, there was so much to do onboard! I’m sure whatever you decide you’ll have a fab trip 😀

Hi. we're on there at the moment. our boys are 14 and 20. docked at belfast today but haven't got off. so much to do.
never cruised before and am seriously considering re booking for half term, we're loving it . only 1200 on board this week though which is really quiet

There was 1200 on our cruise in August too, it was amazing!
