I'm a massive cynic about these supposed flight sales.

It's not like a flight to Orlando has a known and published fixed price, and that is reduced during a sale period. Flight prices vary all the time, based on a huge number of factors, many of which we have no sight of.

I'm almost certain that there will be people on any given flight who didn't buy in a sale, and paid less than someone did who paid a sale price.

I think the tactic is to keep looking as often as you can, pounce when you see a price that you are happy with and never look again. Some people will pay less, some will pay more, but once you've committed there's not much you can do about that, so don't risk torturing yourself.

(I've been to Florida and taken other holidays something like 25-30 times and never knowingly bought a flight in a sale)
