I am worried it won't happen (and I'm not going until April). But I can't agree that the media are sensationalising it. They're only reporting the facts. I don't think any new restrictions will (or should) affect international travel, but I certainly think there's an argument for bringing something in just to stop it getting worse (which potentially would affect international travel).

I'm worried if the C19 rates still keep climbing we will be banned from Canada! Morocco already banned us didn't they!
DH & I are still wearing our masks if we go anywhere inside I just with they would make it mandatory again, the majority we see seem to have forgotten the virus is still around.

Cases have dropped the last 3 days and even then its mainly schoolkids- don't believe the crap in the media.

They absolutely are sensationalising it at the moment. Funny how they have gone quiet today and yesterday about cases as they dropped from last weekends numbers. I can only imagine the headlines if they had risen further.

My partner works in a hospital- Gloucestershire where cases have blown up and its certainly not 'rife' there. Schools, well yes anyone could have predicted that but how many of the kids are seriously ill which is what matters surely?

The point was the media are scare mongering, there's absolutely no doubt about it.

We go early December and for self preservation reasons, I'm hesitant...that being said I've bought sweets and goodies for the plane which I didn't in the previous 4 attempts we've made to go to Florida 🥴

Until I touch the plane as I'm boarding (and probably crying!) I will be fearful it won't happen. Its natural after what we've all been through!

Yes the cases are rising at the minute. We knew they would as winter comes...covid seems to enjoy colder weather! However, the vaccination programme means that people are coping with it better and hospitals aren't stretched to the limits they were this time last year.

I work in a school and we've had quite a lot if children test positive, none that have required hospital thank goodness.

You'll be fine

I really think the only thing which will stop any of us is a positive COVID test on the test we do 3 days before. Hopefully we all get out there!
