Your favourite tapas dishes

Hi I am putting together a tapas night for DH and DS13 and I have a couple of dishes planned: chilli garlic prawns, patatas bravas, pork meatballs in tomato sauce, marinated halloumi, hummus and pita and also olives. Is there anything you love or would recommend that I have missed? Just to add that we don’t like mushrooms. Thanks

Slices of crusty bread topped with olive oil and crushed fresh tomatoes
Iberico ham if you can find some, if not serrano
Pan-fried or grilled Padron peppers

Can I come?

Brilliant- they are fantastic additions! Honestly we will probably need extra guests for all the food!

Thank you. The boys love calamari but I’ve never cooked it. Off to google calamari recipes now.

Tortilla (the thick omelette thing, not the Mexican thin wrap thing!)

Tricky if you don't have a deep far fryer.

We don't, which is why I cheat with calamari and buy a frozen bag that I can just shove in the oven!
