I have to say as a mum with daughters this is very frightening. It’s been reported that women are being targeted and spiked with needles at nightclubs. Some have ended up in hospital with no memory of what’s happened to them.
What is wrong with people these days.

It’s absolutely terrifying.
I had my drink spiked when I was 22 and it was the scariest experience of my life but this is like a whole new level of horror.

My wife has said the same thing. We have a 13 year old granddaughter who lives with us and we worry quite a lot about her. We are dreading her reaching the age when she goes night clubbing as I know we will both stress out over her.

My 20 year old DD has said that she is not going out to bars and clubs now. This has really scared her. She is going to a uni event next week for her course and although she is fully aware that this isn't totally safe and she still needs to keep her wits about her she feels a bit better about it as she will know everyone there. Its absolutely horrifying what is happening to women these days.

Drink spiking is really common in one of the clubs my daughter goes to sometimes. Her friend she went with about a month ago was spiked and ended up in hospital. My daughter had rather luckily gone home.
Funnily we went to London at the weekend we saw a show and preordered drinks for the interval. Her girl friend was shocked that they are left out - saying we will get spiked!
