Heathrow to gatwick private transfer advice

Hi, managed to book a great fly drive deal yesterday from Newcastle to London to Orlando with BA. Have 4 hours to transfer from Heathrow to gatwick so looking for advice on best private transfer to book for 7 of us with luggage.
This is already booked so no option to fly the night before like I would have preferred so only looking for best transfers please.

Thanks Jacquie xx

Well done I missed out while trying to get Down the night before so you made the right decision.

A BA approved partner according to their Speedbird site is

connectabltd/transfers.php

They seem a little expensive though.

I'm interested in this, I have a little over 3 hours to make the transfer. There are quite a few online, its knowing which one to trust!

Another vote for BA transfers, I used them last year from Gatwick to Heathrow, and like you we had a 4hr window.

As soon as we cleared customs a bloke in a suit was waiting for us and walked us to a decent mini bus, it took about an hour to get to Heathrow as the M25 car park was busy.

Very good service and Id use them again.

I had looked into buses, trains etc and they looked like a hassle and not that much cheaper than BA, when I booked on line the choice of vehicles was there so you ordered the size u need.

When you get to Gatwick do you have to check in again or is it just a bag drop?

Hi, there is a guide on flyertalk.com which explains in great detail all the possible ways to do this transfer - as a new member I can't post the url but if you google heathrow-gatwick-transport-options-pictorial-guide then it should come up near the top.

Hope it helps.

Same here! I've heard several recommendations for BA Transfers, but then discovered there is also a company called BA-Transfers
