With me being a bit of a womble I've kept all my paperwork from the last 3 trips

I used: batransfers all one word, no spaces or dashes

It cost me £86, that was for 2 adults, 3 children and because we had 5 cases we needed a mini bus. The £10 car parking fee for Gatwick was included in that price.

Helpful thread...thanks

We need to do Gatwick to Heathrow, got 5 hours from landing to take off so looking at batransfers
Do they meet you coming out the arrivals hall with a name board or do you call them?...also, if landing at 7am when should the transfer be booked for?... 08.30...?...is 90 mins enough to clear immigration and get baggage at Gatwick?

Thanks

We are doing this route and changed from the three hour transfer window as we felt that this was to tight a turn around. We have five hours on way back and from reviews have booked ba transfers.

It's never taken me longer than 45 mins to get out of Gatwick. I assume you give them your flight number so they can see if there are any delays. I'd book it for half hour after the arrival time.

Again...very helpful... thanks for the reply, will do

reading their website they do seem to monitor the flights... but wonder if they have a name board at arrivals or do you call them when through arrivals..?

Anybody have any idea how long it takes to get out of Heathrow (flying down from Manchester), do you have to go through the whole border control for domestic flights?

once you are off the plane then it's about 10 minutes walk to get out the terminal.

How long it takes for your bags to arrive at the reclaim belt is another story.

When I used batransfers they had my flight number, as soon as I turned my mobile phone on in the airport there was a txt from my driver saying he was at arrivals, he was stood there with a name board.

We used BATransfer (no gap) and wouldn’t use them again.

We were due to land at 9:15am Gatwick and depart Heathrow at 1:20pm.

Flight was delayed and we notified them in plenty of time and they told me they would be watching the flight.
We land at 10:30am and were straight through with no sign of driver.
We rang at 11:15am to ask where driver was to be told he was walking towards Costa (meeting point) I explained we now had a short connection time due to delay and was told not to worry he was on his way.
By 11:30am still no sign of him. I rang again to be told he was definitely on his way but had gone to the toilet!
Eventually he strolled through the airport checking his phone at 11:35am with no name board and we only recognised him from thr picture they sent confirming his details.
I told him we were now really late & he picked up one of our cases and strolled off whilst still checking his phone.
By the time we made it to his car and out the airport we knew we wouldn’t make the flight which we didn’t.
Not a word of apology from the driver. I’ve emailed them to complain yesterday and still not a peep.
I understand we might’ve missed the flight anyway with the delay but they certainly didn’t help the situation.
