Busy October Trip

I am going to Disney on the 7th October to the 21st October.

I have been looking at the busy day guide and it shows that all 4 Disney parks are 'least recommended' for the entire 2 weeks!

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best days to go to which parks?

Thanks

It’s because of the extra magic hours . No one really knows the true impact of Star Wars until it opens .

I just looked at our dates, after reading your post, have they added these on to help with the busy-ness? Looks like all parks, nearly every day?! Eek. I suppose there is no need to really plan what days we do what now ...

I'm going in October too and I booked it way before Star Wars opening was confirmed. Like Mexy02 said we don't know how busy it is going to be other than HS being stupidly busy so I have limited my time there to 2 trips, once on my first morning to take advantage of the EEMH being 6am and on the last day to see if I can get a FP for the falcon ride (yeah, wishful thinking) although staying on site so you never know! I have also avoided Epcot at weekends to avoid the madness of Food and Wine as that was horrific last time I went in October (everyone literally had drank the world). I think go with what you want to do with the view of maybe having to change things nearer the time. I am hoping that all the Star Wars fans go in September lol

I'm going in September and if they do I hope they stay in HS and leave the rest of the parks for those of us who don't like Star Wars!

We avoid Epcot at weekends , it’s gets silly now . I don’t know how they afford to get drunk if I’m honest but loads manage it .

I've found Columbus Day to have a big impact on crowd levels. Maybe plan a rest day then

I think October is going to be busy no matter what park you’re in, with GE open, Food & Wine and Halloween parties so less evenings at MK for Happily Ever After fireworks, it’s going to be crazy busy! I regret booking for October over our usual August now (even though GE is opening in late august, we’ve usually done the bulk of Disney by then) Star Wars is lost on me! But we only have 4 day tickets and MNSSHP tickets so we will be going into it with a plan, were onsite so will be getting up for EMH for the first time ever, and doing our favourite bits of the parks before leaving and making use of the pool and getting dinner!

Top tip (if you can and don’t mind missing the fireworks) MK is usually quietest in the mornings/ early afternoons on days when the Halloween party is on. Not sure if that will hold true with the impact of GE but it’s wortn a go.
