1) Your ESTA authorisation needs to be valid for when you enter the U.S. and will allow you to stay within U.S. territory for up to 90 days from when you land. Therefore, it is okay if your ESTA does not remain not valid throughout your stay in the United States as long as you do not overstay the limit of 90 days.
2) Your UK address doesnt matter. Its still valid as long as the passport matches and you have no changes to the questions you are asked on the Esta, i.e any recent serious crimes.

I know that technically you would not need one. But I think I would be inclined to renew it anyway, in case there is flight disruption, strike action or somebody is ill and you delay your departure for a few days.

Glad you asked this as we fly out on 21st July and Estas expire on 1st August so was also wondering whether we had to renew all of them.

Its only $14. You have already spent several thousand. And as Claudette says, what happens if your delayed for any reason.

In answer to the questions
1. No 2. No Of course many will offer various scenarios but the short answer is above. Is your choice. Read all the posts then decide. My take. In 45 years of flying, I’ve never had a departure delayed by more than one day, and that was many moons ago, so I wouldn’t be renewing, I’d take the risk. |

All responses are correct. It comes down to your level of comfort in worrying about a 4 day delay in getting there. Personally I'd be quite happy sticking with what you have. If you do get delayed 4 days, there will be circumstances which are going to either annoy you far more, or put spending a few quid on a replacement ESTA into a context where it doesn't matter.
