Cruises!

Any guesses for when the cruise industry will start to pick up again?

Disney aren't resuming their sailings until at least April but that will likely be put back again.

I have a Disney cruise booked for December and I'm 50/50 as to whether it will go ahead!

Only voted august as I have one booked for then 😂

Absolutely no idea when anything will restart. Every headline contracts the last, it feels like nobody has a clue what’s going on.

Cruises could be like the Saga holidays. You can only go if you can prove you have been vaccinated and have had a negative test before boarding. Otherwise they are just a breading ground for an outbreak.

I voted April as ours is booked for then 🤞. It was rebooked from last year. It’s the only thing that’s been booked so far for this year. It feels that’s all I’ve got to look forward to. Cant see it happening though, especially if being vaccinated is a requirement. I’m under 50 (just) and no pre-existing conditions, so no jab on the horizon.

If they go for proof of vaccination and testing 72 hours prior then I don’t see why not July August although how that’d work for us flying into the US four days prior to our cruise. Suppose we will use our friends in Florida’s GP for testing if that’s the case.
Going to be interesting that’s for sure .

I've voted April because we have a cruise booked with MSC in April and they have been cruising already (albeit with Brits not allowed!) In all honesty I'm expecting to have to re-arrange again 😂

I voted May we have a P&O cruise booked in June so hopefully up and running before that. And a Disney cruise booked in November. Both moved from last year.

Disney has pushed the PIF date to 60 days before for all cruises until the end of August.

So we now have until June to cancel for a full refund in late afternoon of April.

Hopefully by June we’ll be in a position to know if summer trips can go ahead.
