BA check in Online

I checked in online but could only print 3 of 4 boarding passes, says I need to collect from the desk. is that normal? says all over the booking we need to show passports and visa's at the desk, assume they mean EStA's

Presume it is the extra security. We had this last year, printed three but then had to collect mine at the desk. When I got mine it had code 9999 on it which meant that I had an extra security check before boarding the plane. Nothing to worry about its just selected at random.

Aslong as all 4 of your party has an esta and filled in your API then it should just be extra security checks

This has also happened to me today. Party of 8 and everyone but me could print boarding pass. I know I have a valid ESTA so can only assume it’s for extra security checks xx

When I checked in online earlier with BA for our party of 4, I was able to download 3 boarding passes to my phone but the other one wouldn’t and a message popped up about extra checks at the airport. I closed down the app, went back into manage my booking and was able to download the fourth one no problem. So maybe a glitch in the system?

I checked in online this morning and like you could only download 3 of 4 boarding passes. Just dropped our checked bags at the BA desk this evening, I mentioned this to the staff member and she printed off the boarding pass for me, so we have all 4 for tomorrow’s flight

I’ve had that my last 2 BA flights, both were extra security at the gate.
They printed my boarding passes at check in.

Either hubby or I has this the last couple of flights. Just extra checks as said .
