Yes, in line with current EU Guidelines. I.E. no access for non-EU countries for non essential travel

I imagine this will change once the hotel owners complain!

Of course, we can reciprocate any actions taken within the EU that affect the U.K. population.
I feel that Spain, Greece, Cyprus and other nations that are rather reliant on U.K. tourists visiting will be keen that access continues into the future.

This particular matter is simply about Covid and in line with our FCO advice in any case.

Looking into the future and personally, born in Malta, lived in Cyprus for 2 years, Germany for 3, Norway for 6 months and extensively travelled much of Western Europe. Were it to become ‘difficult’ into the future, and I do not think that it is in anybody’s interest that it will, then whilst I would be sad, there are plenty enough great alternatives to occupy me for the rest of my life. The rest of the Americas and the Far East will beckon!

We will not be in the EU, so we will be subject to the same rules as everyone else not in the EU. Hardly a surprise.

Well 1 in 300 Americans were hospitalised with Covid after Thanksgiving - with our 4-day break over Christmas, I do wonder if it’s gonna get better soon.

Hospitalised or tested positive ?
One in three hundred I doubt as there wouldn’t be the beds , looking at my American friends who currently have it , tested positive I can believe though.
