Not surprised you didn't see it. Easy to miss it unless you park in Watermelon or the other surface car parks as it's "behind" Cirque. If you were walking inside DS towards Cirque you may not see it.

Just to add to your edit. Yes you don't see your case again until the UK. In over 16 years on the DIBB I don't recall anyone having lost a case.

It's only available on Virgin metal by the way.

We use it every year and hope it stays, love getting checked in early then being luggage free to mooch around Disney Springs for the day.

DS check in only really works if you have a car. If you are staying on site, getting cases to DS is a problems, as you can't take currently cases on the Disney Transport buses.

What will change, if anything after MDE goes, is anybodies guess.

We don't usually have a car and it works great for us, a short Uber ride and cases are gone.

It needs to be done before the DS check in closes at 13.00

I'm tempting fate now but we have used it around 45 times since it started and never had any issues.
