Flights help for a DIY n00b :)
Morning all!
Doing dummy bookings for 2016 in advance of our proposed to 2017 trip. Having no luck on SkyScanner/Kayak etc finding prices that we want (£500-£600 pp direct, any UK airport) for when we want to go (anywhere from the end of Sept to the end of Oct, although the later the better). Convinced I'm doing something wrong... Thomas Cook however have had our kind of prices and have been on sale since April. They currently have flights out of Manchester in the last week of Oct for £208.99 pp! Return flights aren't on sale yet though - is it ok to book one leg whilst it's cheap and the other leg later? Is this a thing people do? Sorry for rambling on!

Do you think I could get flights MCO into MAN or LGW in the first two weeks of November for around £500pp? Not on sale yet.

Yes, if you're flexible no problem. Anything under £500 (inc luggage) is a good price.

Thankyou.
Like i say, it's a 'dummy run' for 2017, but If i get that kind of outbound price again next year it'll be nice to know I can book it knowing the return leg will be affordable once its released.

have you tried flying from Dublin a lot cheaper try travel republic for Dublin flights.
My friend Steve was getting quotes of £700 for June next year from Gatwick. He booked 4 flights to Dublin £50 return each. Then he booked from Dublin to Orlando with change over in Gatwick lol £345 each total cost for 4 people £1580. Edited at 06:55 PM. |
