Xmas meals at DLP

We're here from the 24th - 27th and have the half board plan.

I know there's a few xmas meals on the 24th, but can I still use my half board meal plan during this period too at restaurants that aren't participating in special meals?

As far as I know, that should be the case. That’s the way it has been done in the past - special Christmas meals at high prices in certain restaurants, and normal dining-plan meals in others.

We were there over the same dates last Christmas with the half board meal plan. On the 24th you can use the voucher at lunchtime but not evening. I looked at a Christmas meal as several places do this but the price was extortionate! I think the cheapest meal for 3 was priced about £550 for the evening. Some were much more! We ate in studios Restaurant Des Stars at about 2pm using the voucher and then had just a snack later. I would recommend that you book the restaurants over the Christmas period as they are very busy. I think you can do this at 60 days out.
