ADR’s booking and cancelling?

Hi All,

Considering first visit to DLP and trying to find out how ADR’s work here - need help please experts!

Free dining not available for our dates so considering weather to purchase a meal plan in advance or just pay out of pocket.

Either way, if you make an ADR and want to cancel is there a minimum cancellation period and subsequent cash penalty if you don’t cancel within it e.g. WDW requires 24hrs notice to cancel or $10 penalty per person?

I can’t find anything about this either on the Dibb or DLP website.

Unless it has changed recently, there’s no penalty or minimum notice period for cancelling.

We’ve amended our reservations at a couple of hours’ notice, and it hasn’t been a problem. We also missed a reservation entirely when we were stuck in a longer than expected queue and my phone had died. Obviously, I would normally let them know so that they can give the table to someone else (they do this after 15-30 minutes for no-shows anyway) but it didn’t cause any problems.

I've never booked ADR before for WDW. If j book and we change our mind do I have to cancel on MDE 24 hours before otherwise they charge me xx
