DLP then onward to South coast
Hi.
The family and myself are booked again for DLP at the end of June 2020 after enjoying our first trip this year. I'm wondering if anyone has went from DLP to the south coast at any point? I believe the TGV goes from Paris down to the south and also there must be internal flights so hoping anybody has any advice? Thanks, Stuart |

I had looked at this as an option for a trip in the future too. EasyJet seemed to have regular cheap flights from Paris to Nice, and then from Nice back to the UK.

Hi.
I did notice that particular flight option, yes. TGV seems to work in around £300 - £400 which seems a lot to me. |

EasyJet worked out slightly cheaper than that when I looked it up, plus it’s easier to fly than use the train I feel. Another option could be coach travel. I haven’t looked into it for France but we are planning to visit Rome and Sorrento next summer and there is a very cheap coach transfer between the two cities, which works out around £15 pp and takes 4 hours with luggage stored under the bus. It may be worth seeing if there is similar from Paris to the South Coast

Hi.
It seems you can't book train too far in advance so looked at November dates and it's about £180 or so but may be dearer in Summer I'm guessing. Train takes 6 hours from Paris to Cannes. Coach is indeed cheaper at £80 but takes almost 13 hours! |

I wouldn’t fancy 13 hours on a coach either.
May be worth looking at EasyJet flights when they are released for next summer. I believe they sell them from September so not long to wait |
