Disney Cruise Line VIP!

If we're giving out tips, mine would be to sharpen your elbows and polish up your best British voice for sarcasm ...
The lifts are used by most people and some of those people (who could easily use the stairs) don't care that your husband has no choice but to use the lifts. They will not wait for him and they will not get out of the lift to make room for him. This may be a Disney cruise, but common courtesy still goes amiss with people. My suggestion is to ask a few people who are also waiting for the lift (there are a few in each bank) to hold it for you so you have time to manoeuvre towards it. This will hopefully ensure they let you in first! If you are using the midship lifts and you can't get in them, go to guest services (right next to them) or grab a CM and ask for some help. They will ensure you can then get in a lift.
