Well done Virgin and Bethany! Best wishes to Isabel for the coming months - I'm sure she will find strength she never thought she had.

I had to call Virgin last month about miles and spoke to Sophia who noted that it was close to my birthday. We chatted and joked about her sending me free flights around the world or Matt Damon in a gift wrapped box. On my actual birthday, a gift arrived from Sophia - a really lovely Virgin tote bag with a card.

Such simple things from them mean the world to us as guests.

I went on Twitter to pass my thanks on and they did apparently.

I’m overwhelmed by all your good wishes. Although strangers, we do feel like the Dibb is a little part of our family. I have been a member for 10 years and used it to make our special family Florida holidays even more special.

Unfortunately the hospital have told us today that adenocarcinoma in this form is incredibly rare, less than 1 in 10 million. The scans show it in her liver, kidney and bones. We are beyond devastated. But we are a strong family and will do everything we can to fight this. We are hoping to hear later today about an appointment at Clatterbridge to start chemotherapy or potentially immunotherapy as soon as next week.

Thank you once again for the prayers and pixie dust, we will hold them dear x
