Mobile FOP Advice

Hi, I’m looking for a little advice on FOP for my son. He’ll be 10 when we go in the summer and doesn’t do many rides and in particular not roller coasters as he doesn’t like heights and speed. It’s more from a safety point of view as he’s a bit of a risk assessor! He says he will do simulators as he will know he isn’t high up. If the ride got to “real” could he look behind him to detach from the experience?

Thanks x

My son was 8 when we went and he doesn't like any drop rides but he enjoyed it. Glasses are a bit of a pain to keep on tho.

I think he will be fine. You feel really secure on it as have the back support. If he didn't like it he could just close his eyes.
Agree about the glasses.

Yay I’m excited now as I tend to miss out on the rides he doesn’t do and I really really want to do this one! Just need FPs now which being offsite is easier said than done

We didn't manage to get a FP as offsite but we got there at rope drop and waited 50 mins.
Also try the 10.30 trick - they realise a few more FP on the day for FOP between 10.30 - 10.40.

Shame about the glasses but he’s agreed to go on whoohoo normally it’s a big fat No!
