Car seat bag

Hi,
I have bought a car seat bag from Amazon to put 1x car seat and 1x booster in. Can I fill the extra space with nappies and wipes on the way there (baby allergic to loads of stuff so don't want to risk a reaction to stuff I could buy there). Will the contents of my car seat bag be checked at the airport (and me told to repack it all in cases?).

When we fly with KLM/Delta, they don't allow you to put extra stuff together with the car seats in the bag. But this has never been checked whilst checking in our bags at the counter.

stuff what you want to take in the car seat, wrap it with your beach/pool towels and then cling wrap it before putting it in the car seat bag and seal the car seat bag. If they ask why its wrapped, its to prevent any damage in transit whihc would affect the integrity of the car seat!

We do this all the time with virgin and never been asked what's in it. We have put in cereals, orange juice (cling filmed!), towels (sometimes) the swimming bag, nappies and baby wipes.

We bought one of the pushchair bags from Amazon and it's big enough to take the pushchair, car seat and booster seat. Will this be allowed or do we need separate bags?

I wanted to know this too Henlet! Do we check in the car seat bag with the luggage or somewhere else?

I would imagine you'll have to deposit it at oversized baggage

We are taking 2 booster seats and putting them in an empty suitcase so we have an empty suitcase to fill on the way back (will leave the booster seats there)

I'm hoping to put shoes and toiletries in there too, if they fit
