22 Hour Layover at JFK

Any advice on what we could with this stopover. Decent flight prices but is it possible to go into New York City for one night? What happens with luggage etc... not done indirect before so wondering what would happen in this situation. All legs booked with one airline..

Absolutely you should go into NYC for the night. It sounds like the perfect opportunity to do some sightseeing! Is it outbound or inbound, what time do you arrive / fly out the next day?

Outbound flight into JFK lands at 16.00h Departure to MCO at 14.00h next day... just worried about luggage arrangement etc

we did this at newark airport, left out suitcases there, and just took hand luggage for the night

Just took the plunge on this! 400 each for the school holidays and the bonus of one night in NYC...With Virgin as well

Excellet oidea. you can rest on the plane! NYC is ace but ,are sure you have good walking shoes on. I would advise to book to do things. Maybe go up tot the top of Rockerfeller, this is an amazing thing to do and it will give you an excellent cue of NYC. Takes you strait past Radio city ect too.

I’ve just been stayed at Best Western Premier Herald Square, it’s a great location, you get a good breakfast and the hotel is reasonably priced - rooms are small though.
