Magic Kingdom Firework Dessert Party

Can anyone advise if 7.45pm would be the correct time to turn up for the dessert party, as advised by Disney, or is it better to get there early.

Wasn't sure if I read somewhere that people were queuing earlier than this time to get in.

Thanks

Which party is it - the tomorrow land terrace or the garden?

Tomorrowland terrace has tables so allocation is based on arrival - we queued for an hour before to get a good table, most people were there no later than 30 mins before.

When we went in 2015 tables were already allocated so in that sense it didn't matter what time you arrived. We got there about 7:45pm for the 9pm fireworks

I think it's the plaza garden one where you stand to watch the fireworks.
Thanks

Then you just need to get there early enough to enjoy the desserts before they walk you over to the viewing area - enjoy!

We've never done the plaza gardens dessert party before but we're thinking of doing it next year. Am I right in thinking that you get to sit down to enjoy the desserts/drinks (separate from the ones doing the fully seated party) and then approx 10 mins before the fireworks you get taken over to the plaza gardens viewing area?
