Tables in wonderland - tell me about it?

Been reading about the tables in wonderland card, sounds like a good idea for us going in back August after comparing it to our list of food options most our on the list.

Anyone ever used one?

One question I have, I know alcohol is included but do you have to be eating? Places like the hanger bar/rose and crown are on the list so would get the discount for just drinks?

Other places like Hollywood Brown Derby is on the list but is the discount also valid at the lounge outside?

Fingers crossed someone can help me out.

You can use it for just drinks. Don’t forget they automatically add the service charge when you use the TIW card.

OP. Are you aware it's only open to 3 groups of people?

Florida resident, Annual Passholder, or Disney Vacation Club Members.

We use it all the time and if you time it right when purchasing it's valid for 13 Months. Excellent deal.

The break-even point is $750 spent at Table Service restaurants/bars so everybody says.

Yes i'm aware we have an annual pass so are fine to get one.

how to you time it right to get 13 months?

There will be 7 of us eating in August so just trying to work out the cost saving on the 20% on everything vs the 10% food we get with the AP.

To get 13 Months the best bet is to buy for example on the 1st Jan 18 So it then expires on the 31st Jan 19 being 13 months later.

Checking mine I got it on the 20th of April 17 and it expires on the 31st May 18 so even longer than 13 months, love a bargain!

do you know if its still valid after your annual pass expires? ours will expire in November but realistically won't get the tables card till August this year.

We half looked at it in November but only 2 of us traveling plus there was extra discount on food with AP then. this summer we are traveling as a party of 8 so it does make it worth doing.

Yes, AP just has to be valid at time of purchase. I've had a card for years ( started back when it was the DDE ). Wouldn't be without it, it's saved me $1000's over the years.

You get 20% discount on food and drink inc alcohol at qualifying TS places. An 18% ( of the pre discount amount ) auto tip is then added back on.

Basically the card gives you free tips and 2% discount if you prefer to think of it that way.
