Mobile Universal over a weekend or Disney?

Oh wise ones...we are staying in Orlando for 14 nights Sunday - Sunday first two weeks in August and plan on staying at Universal for 3 nights and Disney for 11 nights. In terms of how busy the parks will be would you do Universal at the beginning (Sun - Wed) or at the end of the fortnight (Thurs - Sun)? Thanks

Are you planning on getting express passes for universal? If so I’d go to universal over the weekend as you can use your express passes to skip the queues, in contrast to Disney where you only get the 3 initial fastpasses. What time of year are you going? We went to Universal last May on a Sunday and it was the quietest day of our whole trip! Maybe that was just luck, I’m not sure, but I’d definitely do Universal at the weekend rather than Disney. You could also look at the crowd calendars and compare how busy Disney & Universal were on the weekend dates that you intend on visiting.

Thanks klr15. Yes we will have express passes so doing Universal at the weekend makes total sense.
