Are you planning to be in one of the parks? We ate at Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day last year which was great - the usual turkey dinner we'd have at home, but with a touch of Disney

Haven't been this time of year but know that it is busy! Good reviews of Gaylord palms but it sells out quick.

I'm interested too. Not sure if we'll be doing a park on Xmas day. I know we can eat at a resort or Disney Springs. Are any offsite restaurants on the 192 etc open? Has anyone eaten at Hard Rock and can it be booked?

We just spent Christmas Day in AK and ate Christmas lunch at Yak and Yeti which I would highly recommend. Delicious food, I had the orange chicken, DH and DS1 had ribs, DS2 had kids standard chicken nuggets. Bit different from the usual turkey dinner though!
Also, if you are in AK on any day I would highly recommend Pongu Lumpia as a snack from Pongu Pongu in Pandora.

We were in Orlando for Xmas in 1997, and can thoroughly recommend that most popular of lunch venues... McDonald's!

Christmas day lunch
I'm sorry for the late reply.
I don't think we are going to the parks on Christmas day - I have read somewhere that it is crazy busy! We are thinking of going to Disney Springs and eating there instead Anyone have any ideas on where to go? Might give Planet Hollywood a try Edited at 02:02 PM. |

@eleele - I loved the Yak and Yeti. Would definitely recommend that. If we go AK this year I will be booking to eat here!

I didn't think AK was that busy on Christmas Day but then we didn't do many rides. Although we were stuck in loads of traffic on the way there it all seemed to be going to MK and Epcot. Maybe we just got lucky that year!
In fact I didn't think anywhere in Disney World was crazy busy over the holiday period except MVMCP on the 22nd Dec which was it's last night.

We did early Dinner at Raglan Road, and then spent the evening watching the live music acts & other entertainment at Disney Springs... absolutely recommend it!
