Thanks guys the extra space for the travel cot and the balcony are really tempting me. The idea of sitting out on the balcony with a drink at OKW v. Sitting in a dark room while the kids sleep at POFQ is so tempting!

Fudgie sorry to say your wrong , as I said ask for a tea kettle ! And they will bring you an electric kettle. On our last 2 trips they where new and still in the box. Prior to this we stayed in a 1 bed with our kids but now we just need a studio.

Maybe unpopular opinion but I would stay at French quarter over old key west. Super small resort - everything is handy for refillable mugs/pool/laundry room etc. Only one bus stop which means that the travel times to parks are much shorter.

With riverside and old key west there are several internal bus stops which take a while to drive round before you leave for the parks. Not ideal after a long day at the parks!

The balcony is the only thing that might have swayed me, but have stayed at OKW and French quarter before and French quarter is without a doubt my favourite resort!
