Sky promotions person.

Just had a women on the phone whose opening line was "Hello darling", what the heck, is that really the way to address someone? Don't know what she was promoting as I just said "No thankyou" and put the phone down.

Perhaps she thought she was speaking to her BF

Correct action GG, imo, clearly can’t get the staff nowadays!

Sky aren’t making outbound sales calls at the moment (never do Christmas week) so it would be a scam call .

I thought you meant a Sky adviser, I had a very strange conversation with one over the Black Friday sale. Didn’t give much advise but told me his life story and all about his 3 other jobs, going into very graphic detail on one of them. I really didn’t know what to say to him!

I had a spam Sky call from what sounded like an Indian gentleman, he was singing when I picked the phone up, then tried to tell me something but I couldn't hear what he was saying as he was laughing too much.
Gave up
Checked with Sky on social media and it definitely wasn't them

I was in Costa at work yesterday and one of the servers was referring to every customer as 'pretty girl' (no male customers at the time, no idea what they'd have been called). Very odd.
