The meal was lovely!

Can’t believe this thread began on a wet January night in a weatherspoons on Merseyside... so much has happened since and so many meals consumed ... long May it continue!

Chicken bacon and leek potato topped pie. The kids left the leeks, the mushrooms, some of the cheese on the top and every third bit of bacon.

I liked it 😁

It reminds me of those Michael Mckintire skits where he goes into peoples houses removes food from their freezer and then serves it back to them at high end restaurants to see if they can spot it 😁

Buffet tea of what’s left from DILs afternoons tea and cake business so likely finger sandwiches sausage rolls quiche mince pies Christmas cake mini cheese cakes etc
I know she’s kept DH a few white chocolate peppermint bark truffles
