Thanks all i will have a look at all of these. Pretty little thing have said they can refund or send new ones. Dd has chosen to get new ones so hopefully the second lot will last a bit longer. Had a quick look on hollister and will def be buying some things on there for her. Theres a coat on there i wouldn’t mind for myself actually!

I buy for myself from hollister quite a lot. DD has looked but as yet hasn't seen anything she likes from there (maybe because I shop there!)

I wore a lot of New Look stuff when I was that age. It was decent quality too, not like now when you buy stuff and it has holes within 6 months.

My daughter likes river island, New look, some names like DKNY, Nike. She also really likes Shein and I have been pleasently surprised with the cheapness of the items but the quality has been good - little like a primark online.

I think it’s sign of the times really. We all want everything as cheap as possible but unfortunately that comes with a compromise on quality. I buy very little from Primark now because I have had too many items like this that have fallen apart.

Would definitely take them back (when the shops reopen of course if you are Tier 4)

My 12 year old wears mostly new look plus a bit of Superdry and Hollister (sale items for the latter two)

Pretty little thing & Boo hoo are terrible quality .. I don’t think they are made to last at all .

You could try Zara , River Island , JD sports , Jack Wills for hoodies .

You get what you pay for .. cheap and cheerful they just aren’t the quality , though granted they should at least be wearable when new .
